PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT

Join Metropolitan Ballet in performing ROMEO & JULIET, April 25-26, 2026 at the historic Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul. The two performances will be held on Saturday at 7:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm.

All dancers currently enrolled and training with Metropolitan Ballet are invited to participate (other dancers may be included by the Director’s invitation). Casting will be set by the Artistic Director based on skill level and dancer’s rehearsal availability. If you are not currently training with us please contact us to audition.

commitments AND FEES

Participation in the production requires a commitment from all dancers. Requests to be excused from a rehearsal for any reason must be made on the registration form below. Casting will be determined by the Director and depends on your rehearsal availability and skill level.

REHEARSALS:

  • Dancers ages 15+ must attend rehearsals on all Saturdays 10:30-6:00 pm and Sundays 12:00-6:00 pm beginning Saturday, February 21 at the studio. No rehearsal on Easter Sunday.

  • Younger dancers (youth intermediate ballet) will rehearse on Saturdays 4:00-6:00 pm and Sundays 4:00-6:00 pm beginning March 7 at the studio.

THEATER WEEK:

  • Mandatory full cast (all ages) dress rehearsals will be held on Sunday April 19 from 12:00-6:00 pm at the studio, Wednesday April 22 5:30-9:30 pm at the studio and on Friday April 24 from 4:30-9:30 pm at the Fitzgerald Theater.

  • Call time is 4:30 pm for Saturday’s performance on April 25 and 11:30 am for Sunday’s performance on April 26.

  • A cast party for all dancers and families will be held the evening of April 26.

PARTICIPATION FEES (students only): Participation fees must be paid by the first rehearsal. You may pay online using the link below or pay in the studio with cash or check. There are no service fees added to electronic payments. Participation fees include, rehearsals and artistic coaching, costume usage, and theater/ production costs.

**IMPORTANT ** Participation in the production requires a commitment from all dancers. Dancers may be excused in advance from no more than two rehearsals. Requests to be excused from a rehearsal for any reason must be made on the registration form below. Dancers who miss more than two rehearsals may be offered a different role in the production. If you know you will miss more than two rehearsals but would still like to participate, please indicate this on the form below.
