LEVEL 2 BALLET

Designed for 8-11 year olds with at least 1 year of ballet, Level 2 builds on the fundamentals with greater focus on arm positions, direction of the body, increased movement and balancing. Dancers begin wearing pre-pointe shoes to strengthen their feet for pointe work.

CLASS SCHEDULE and tuition

Dancers enroll in a minimum of 2 classes per week for the academic year. Classes are offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:45-6:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 9:00-10:30 am. Tuition is $195 per month. Enrolling in three classes per week for $245 per month. Learn more about tuition and online payment.

DRESS CODE

Girls are to wear a black leotard, pink tights and pink leather slippers. A black ballet skirt is optional. Please secure hair into a neat bun. Boys are to wear a plain white t-shirt, black tights and black leather slippers with white socks.

PERFORM WITH US

All Level 2 dancers are invited to perform in Metropolitan Ballet’s full-length production of the Nutcracker with the Kenwood Symphony Orchestra. Our young dancers perform as mice, soldiers and cookies!
