LEVEL I BALLET

Designed for dancers ages 5-8 who are ready to begin learning the fundamentals of classical ballet or continue their training in a fun and encouraging environment. Young dancers will be introduced to elementary barre and center work with a focus on ballet positions, balance and musicality.

CLASS SCHEDULE and tuition

Level 1 dancers enroll in 2 classes per week for the academic year. Classes are offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 4:30-5:15 pm and on Saturdays at 9:30-10:15 am. Tuition is $165 per month. Learn more about tuition and online payment.

Dress code

Girls are all in pink! Attire is a pink leotard, pink tights, pink leather slippers and a pink dance skirt. Please secure hair into a neat bun. Boys are to wear a plain white t-shirt, black tights and black leather slippers with white socks.

PERFORM WITH US

All Level 1 dancers are invited to perform in Metropolitan Ballet’s full-length production of the Nutcracker with the Kenwood Symphony Orchestra. Our young dancers perform as mice, soldiers and cookies!
